Bryan Smaal – CEO

Bryan Smaal joined PDG in May 2022 as CFO, and was appointed as CEO per January 2024. In this role he will focus on the Buy & Build Strategy throughout Europe and is responsible for other matters such as IT, Legal and HR. Prior to PDG Bryan ,amongst other jobs, worked for PwC for 8 years and was part of the management board of Car parts distributor Sator/LKQ for 4 years. Bryan holds a master’s degree from Nyenrode Business University and a postgraduate ‘Register Accountant’.

Marnix Oppel – CFO

Marnix Oppel joined PDG in January 2024. He holds the position of CFO. In this role he holds responsibility for all financial matters as well as ESG and Compliance. Prior to PDG Marnix, worked for PwC for over 17 years in different roles. Marnix is a charted accountant (RA) and holds a master’s degree and a postgraduate ‘Register Accountant’ from Nyenrode Business University.

Arno van de Glind – Managing Director Aftermarket distribution

Arno van de Glind joined Hoco Parts BV in 2002 and became Managing Director in 2018. Arno is responsible for the Aftermarket distribution’ business, strategy, and buy-and-build integrations. He holds a Master of Science in Management from Nyenrode Business University, The Netherlands.

Eric Houben – Managing Director Vintage/OE Parts Distribution (CMS)

Eric Houben started in November 2022 as Managing Director of CMS responsible for strategy, results and growth. He gained almost 3 decades of experience in the Automotove industry in various positions and responsibilities. Before he joined CMS, Eric was director of Marketing & E-commerce and head of digital strategy in the LKQ-Fource organization. Eric has a degree in IT and build a lot of affinity with the digitalization and optimalisation of processes in merchant environments.
